Course comprising a minimum of 6 hours of practical and theoretical training covering responsibilities; assessment of the situation; first aid hygiene; resuscitation; anatomy; choking; bleeding; shock; epilepsy; minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty. Compliant with Health & Safety Executive code of Practice.

A Level 3 First Aid course designed for those who have an interest in child and baby Basic Life Support governed by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or OFSTED. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking. Also includes training in - 

• Role of the Paediatric First Aider • Seizure • Diabetic emergencies • Primary survey • Choking • Asthma • Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED) • Minor injuries • Meningitis • Wounds, bleeding and shock • Recovery position • Febrile convulsions • Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis • Fractures • Extreme cold and heat • Head, neck and back injuries • Foreign bodies • Electrical incidents

Ofqual approved course. All successful students will be issued an FAW certificate lasting for 3 years. This FAW course covers all aspects of basic life support including CPR, bleeding, unconsciousness, choking, head injuries, sprains and strains and a vast range of First Aid conditions that you may experience in the workplace.

The FAA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support provides learners with knowledge of CPR, safe use of an AED, Primary Survey, the Recovery Position and choking. This course is suitable for all persons and provides vital life-saving actions to take in an emergency.

 The qualification has been designed to provide the knowledge and competence for a learner to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural environment.

 The FAA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid (+F), is designed to accompany a suitable First Aid at Work  or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification to enable a learner to meet the requirements of the Forestry  Commission First Aid at Work Policy.  

If learners need to satisfy the requirements of the Forestry Commission, information regarding acceptable first aid  qualifications can be found in The Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy for those that work on our land. 

Qualifications must be Ofqual regulated like this to meet specific requirements.

**This Course is a bolt on to either Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work.

We offer bespoke training to suit your business needs and have expertise in both the public and private sectors. We have experience training in HM Prison Service, UK Home Office, Hospitality, Education, Local Authority, and the Care Sector.

Packages can include specialist subjects such as Airway Management and Catastrophic bleeding. We also deliver training to meet your annual mandatory requirements such as the GMC and GDC, Pre-hospital care, Dentistry and Primary care. 

Additionally to this we offer IQA / Annual Monitoring  services for NUCO Training instructors this can be done remotely via video link or on site within the South East.
